I have amazing light in my apartment. Amazing. I have a friend who is trying to get pregnant right now…and when she does and I do belly photos, I’m totally making her do part of it here, because the lighting is FABULOUS. Here’s my kitty, Olivander, sitting in the fabulous light. You would think this was posed, but it’s not. He’s not that well behaved.

A fine image. Adorable kitty. I like it SOOC a lot….until I plugged it into my computer and was able to do a few tweaks…

Better, yes? I, like most photogs, strive to take a photo that I could give to someone without editing. Editing is just to enhance it and “make it me”. I think my simple edits – all I did was a slight increase in saturation and a little selective sharpening in his face – make all the difference.
