{Guidette in the making? Maybe!}

No. I’m not. But I AM in Jersey this week! Not as exciting as it may seem, since I’m spending three exhausting 12 hour days in Panera cafe’s doing paperwork with associates. I do kinda love Jersey though. I mean, seriously, Jersey Shore is HILARIOUS and here are people really truly like that here. And this state is wacky. Nothing is how it is everywhere else. You can’t turn left. Ever. You turn right in order to turn left (wtf is a u-turn lane?! SO WEIRD!). Regardless…this isn’t really a post about Jersey, but how could I not mention it?! Tomorrow is the last day and I will be spending a third evening with my wonderful Mikey, so maybe I will actually acquire some Jersey photos for you!

For now I have a photo that I took with my camera on my cell. Random, I know. But I LOOOVE it. And I used FxCamera (an Android app) to take it, so it’s Polaroid-ized! FUN!

{New Favorite!}

You may (or may not have) noticed that I take a lot of photos that AREN’T of people, too. I call them my artsy fartsy photos. They’re the ones I have hanging up all over my apartment. I’m trying to decide how to incorporate that part of myself into my photography world so that other people can enjoy it, too. Any suggestions??!!

Until then, I will occasionally share with you. This photo is a new favorite from my non-people collection. It was shot yesterday at the botanical gardens at the IMA while the lovely Libby+Tim (whose teaser I posted yesterday) were doing an outfit change.
