I am a proud Purdue Boilermaker (in case you hadn’t heard). I bleed black & gold. It’s what we Purdue kids do. Through thick and thin. (And, if you follow Purdue sports, there’s been some thin.) In honor of today’s win against Western Illinois, I’m posting something more old school.

{New Favorite!}

You may (or may not have) noticed that I take a lot of photos that AREN’T of people, too. I call them my artsy fartsy photos. They’re the ones I have hanging up all over my apartment. I’m trying to decide how to incorporate that part of myself into my photography world so that other people can enjoy it, too. Any suggestions??!!

Until then, I will occasionally share with you. This photo is a new favorite from my non-people collection. It was shot yesterday at the botanical gardens at the IMA while the lovely Libby+Tim (whose teaser I posted yesterday) were doing an outfit change.

{Me, Myself and I}

I was unsure what do for my post today. And, while this title is absolutely the title of one of my favorite Hanson songs (yep, Hanson, ‘Mmmbop’ Hanson), it is used because I attempted to take photos of myself tonight. *gasp* NEWSFLASH: I hate photos of myself. Why do you think I’m the photographer?! BUT! *gasp* I got a couple that I like! I shall share, much to my chagrin. But, seriously, get yourself in front of your own camera. It’s challenging! Especially since my remote was refusing to work.
